There is a large storage closet with beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler, beach toys and games. A wagon is supplied to pull the beach items to the access just a short walk away.

The house is in a community, we love our neighbors and want to keep a good environment on our street, so please act, park, swim, boat, and play your tunes with respect to our neighbors. Surf City observes quiet hours at 10 pm. Trash and Recycling is picked up Tuesday morning. The cans must be set out anytime on Monday. During the summer months a second trash only pickup is Friday morning. The trash can must be set out on Thursday. Trash pickup is very important to ensure the can are not overflowing. Of note, this is Coastal NC, and we have "water bugs" which are giant roach looking bugs. Open doors or windows will allow easy entry to these opportunists...and they are ugly. Unfortunately, there is no way to prevent our guests from seeing one of these occasionally indoors, as we treat for them often, and this causes them to come inside looking for shade and water as they die. That being said, we do not offer a refund for bugs- we professionally treat the house often. We strongly suggest purchasing private travel insurance as we do not offer refunds for trip interruptions or weather. Hurricane season runs from June 1-November 30 in NC, with most activity in September and October. If the island evacuates before your stay begins, then we would certainly refund. In the event of a named storm or wind event, we may secure all interior and exterior furniture, to protect against high water and wind. Any guest number exceeding 11 would need to have prior permission before arrival. If the house exceeds the listed number of renters this is a violation of Airbnb's policies and the stay will be terminated and no refund granted.
